TOOL This online tool allows to break short Vigenere ciphers. It is a proof-of-concept and supports only english and german language as well as keywords and texts with a minimum length of four characters. |

STATISTIC The statistic on wich position the digrams and trigrams were sorted in over 110,000 different ciphers generated from texts by Franz Kafka, William Shakespeare, Charles Dickens and Mark Twain. As MS Excel only supports 64,000 lines, the csv data was split into two files. |
